Twelve usual suspects. Tap any face for the rap sheet — what they do, where they hide, and how we get them out.
The most common attic invader. Strong, dexterous, and capable of tearing right through a soffit. Mothers den with kits in spring — relocation must keep them together. We use one-way doors after the kits can travel, then seal every entry to roof spec.
Daytime scratching in the attic? Likely a squirrel. They chew wiring (real fire risk), nest in insulation, and exploit gable vents. Exclusion plus full vent and ridge-line hardening is the fix.
Bats are federally and state-protected — eviction is timing-sensitive (no exclusion during maternity season). We use one-way devices once pups can fly, then seal every gap above 3/8".
Often hides under porches, decks and crawlspaces. Generally non-aggressive but can die in inaccessible spots — leading to the call we get most often: "what's that smell?"
Dens under sheds, decks, and concrete slabs. Removal requires patience — startle a skunk and you'll be living with the consequences for weeks. Our techs use draped traps and slow approaches.
Most snakes you'll see are non-venomous — and the ones that aren't, our techs can identify on sight. We hand-remove and relocate, and inspect for the rodent populations that drew them in.
Vent nests and chimney intrusions are seasonal but persistent. We humanely remove nests once fledglings have left, then install vent guards, chimney caps, and netting where needed.
Tunnels under your lawn, mounded soil, dying turf in lines. We trap moles with humane scissor traps and address the grub populations they're feeding on.
Burrows under sheds, foundations and decks. They can undermine concrete pads and demolish a vegetable garden in a week. We trap and relocate, then close the burrow with hardware cloth.
Wall-voids, attics, basements. Rat work is exclusion work — they only need a half-inch gap. We trap, sanitize, and seal with hardware cloth and steel.
Will exploit a 1/4-inch gap. Found nesting in pantries, garage corners and engine bays. Sealed entry points + targeted snap-trap placement clear most homes inside two weeks.
Pock-marked lawns and garden divots are giveaways. Armadillos dig for grubs at night and den in burrows under porches. We trap, relocate, and recommend grub-population control.
